The 2015 FX Awards was quite possibly one of our best years yet. We've received a notable amount of positive feedback from what was an impressive evening filled with celebrations, fine dining, a bit of fizz and lots of fun.
The Great Room at Grosvenor House was filled to the brim with some of the best designers, architects and creatives in the industry alongside the generous sponsors, staff and guests. A champagne reception spread a friendly buzz throughout the room and a photo booth from Yarwood Leather kept the vivacious entertained.
The three-course meal was exquisite, delighting audiences with an innovative menu, while the ceremony ran smoothly largely thanks to compere for the evening: Simon Evans. The English comedian managed to calm the chattering room, announcing the 21 awards with eminence, until the very end.
At this point party band MadHen took over, making the night one to remember with their edgy party anthems and energetic performance, which had guests dancing well into the night and wanting more at the close.
FX assistant editor Emily Martin commented on the evening:
'I don't think FX has ever seen a party quite like it! In all the FX Awards history, this was one of - if not - the biggest one yet. And seeing people from the architecture and design communities, among others, travelling from all over the world, and come together in one room to jointly celebrate the best in international design, showcases the calibre of people working in our talented industry. You cannot help, but feel proud.'
